December 20 (SeeNews) - Croatia's average net monthly wage totalled 7,745 kuna ($1,089/1,026 euro) in October, down 4.2% year-on-year in real terms, the country's statistical office said on Tuesday.
In September, the average net monthly salary was 5.0% lower on the year in real terms.
On a monthly comparison basis, the average net monthly wage in October rose 0.3% in real terms, following a 2.2% decline in September, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics said in a statement.
The average gross monthly salary amounted to 10,521 kuna in October, down by a real 3.2% year-on-year and higher by 0.6% on the month.
Croatia's average net monthly wage totalled 7,129 kuna last year, up by a real 2.7% year-on-year.
