March 21 (SeeNews) - Croatia's average net monthly wage totalled 1,094 euro in January, down 0.9% on the year in real terms, the country's statistical office said on Tuesday.
In December, the average net monthly salary was 4.3% lower year-on-year in real terms.
On a monthly comparison basis, the average net monthly wage in January rose 4.6% in real terms, after it stagnated in December, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics said in a statement.
The average gross monthly salary amounted to 1,499 euro in January, up by a real 0.4% year-on-year and higher by 5.0% on the month.
Croatia's average net monthly wage totalled 7,635 kuna ($1,092/1,013 euro) last year, down by a real 3.1% year-on-year.
