February 28 (SeeNews) - Croatian distributor of fast-moving consumer goods Atlantic Grupa [ZSE:ATGR] said on Tuesday its net profit fell 43% on the year to 195.7 million kuna ($28 million/26 million euro) last year, as rising prices of raw materials, packaging, energy and services dented its profitability.
Under the impact of significant price increases in the overall spectrum of business activities, earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) decreased by 21% compared to 2021 and amounted to 575.4 million kuna, the company said in a press release. Sales rose 12% year-on-year to 6.4 billion kuna last year.
Atlantic Grupa's shares traded at 48.60 euro intraday on Tuesday on the Zagreb bourse, down 0.82%.
