June 6 (SeeNews) - Croatian privately-held concern Agrokor has set up a coordination group to support the company's receiver and ensure a more effective management of daily business activities, Agrokor said on Tuesday.
The coordination group will be led by Agrokor's receiver Ante Ramljak, who will be advised by Alastair Beveridge of AlixPartners, the leader of a team of restructuring consultants, the concern said in a statement.
Special attention will be paid to the concern's key business groups - retail, food and agriculture, alongside its asset portfolio, finance and strategy.
On Monday Agrokor appointed Slavko Ledic as CEO of retailer Konzum, replacing Teo Vujcic. Vujcic will now serve as advisor to Ramljak on the retail business group, Agrokor noted. Ramljak's advisors on the food business, finance and asset portfolio too have been named.
