October 2 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) fell in higher turnover on Friday, bourse data showed.
The 24-share benchmark CROBEX index was down 1.71% to 2,175.05 points after rising 0.71% on Thursday.
The CROX index, which tracks the 12 most traded stocks on the ZSE and is calculated by the Vienna bourse, fell 1.19% in euro terms to 1,332.01 points.
The narrower blue-chip index, CROBEX10, which tracks the 10 leading companies in terms of free-float market capitalisation and liquidity, went down 1.56% to 1,149.15 points on Friday.
The shares of HT-Hrvatske Telekomunikacije d.d. (T-HT) blue chip, majority-owned by Deutsche Telekom, closed 0.19% lower at 260.5 kuna ($52.4/35.9 euro) in the day's highest turnover of some 6.75 million kuna.
ZSE's total turnover in floor trading rose to 32 million kuna from 20.4 million kuna on Thursday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index inched down 0.08% to 89.11 points.
