October 6 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rose in slightly higher turnover on Tuesday, bourse data showed.
The 24-share benchmark CROBEX index was up 1.74% to 2,205.13 points after falling 0.35% on Monday.
The CROX index, which tracks the 12 most traded stocks on the ZSE and is calculated by the Vienna bourse, rose 1.13% in euro terms to 1,341.28 points.
The narrower blue-chip index, CROBEX10, which tracks the 10 leading companies in terms of free-float market capitalisation and liquidity, closed 1.19% higher at 1,163.68 points on Tuesday.
The shares of telco HT-Hrvatske Telekomunikacije, majority-owned by Deutsche Telekom, edged up 0.04% to 260.11 kuna ($52.7/35.8 euro) in the day's highest turnover of some 4.4 million kuna.
ZSE's total turnover in floor trading posted a modest rise to 19.9 million kuna from 17 million kuna on Monday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index inched down 0.04% to 89.20 points.
