The two heavyweight rivals on the local IT market opted for the cost-cutting move in an attempt to fold two loss-making units into one business entity that will be profitable, Croatian news outlet Poslovni Dnevnik (www.poslovni.hr) reported on Thursday, quoting unnamed sources.
The two companies said there were no plans to merge any of their other divisions, Poslovni reported.
MR Servis will employ 80 certified and experienced employees in a total of 2,000 square metres of contemporary working space in three locations, the M SAN statement added.
M SAN Grupa (www.msan.hr), established in 1995, distributes computer software and hardware products and consumer electronics. The company also manufactures PCs and consumer electronics under private brands.
Recro (www.recro.hr), established in 1992, distributes IT products and equipment.
