March 12 (SeeNews) - Retail and wholesale companies within Croatia's ailing Agrokor concern saw a negative EBITDA of 21.1 million kuna ($3.5 million/2.8 million euro) in January, while the other two business segments, food and agriculture, recorded positive results, Agrokor said on Monday.
The food business recorded EBITDA of 21 million kuna, while EBITDA of the agri segment reached 10.2 million kuna, Agrokor said in a statement.
The retail and wholesale segment, which encompasses retailer Konzum and its Bosnian unit Konzum BiH, news stand operator Tisak and wholesaler Velpro, recorded a revenue of 896 million kuna in January. The food segment followed with revenue of 426 million kuna, while the agri business saw a slim revenue of 137 million kuna.
