January 17 (SeeNews) - Croatia’s northeastern Vukovar-Srijem county and Babina Greda municipality have called a public tender for the sale of a 89.82% stake they hold among themselves in geothermal resource exploration project company Geotermalni Izvori at a starting price of 898,000 euro ($976,400), the sellers said.
Potential buyers have to submit a letter of intent to construct a drilling borehole in the Babina Greda 2 area, prepare technical documentation and obtain an exploration license for geothermal water, in case that the prospecting confirms availability of geothermal water there, the sellers said in a tender notice published on the website of the Vukovar-Srijem county last week.
