– Croatian state-owned motorway management, construction and maintenance company Hrvatske Autoceste (HAC) will cancel contracts with construction companies worth 6.9 billion kuna, Value Added Tax included.

- The heads of all Croatian shipyards had a final briefing in the Ministry of Economy before their meeting with Prime Mminister Jadranka Kosor on Monday. They will present to the government the model for the second privatisation round for the six state-owned shipyards, which cannot take a turn outside the already agreed framework.
- Croatia’s GDP will drop around 6.0% in the third quarter of the year, which is worse than the forecasts made by most other analysts, said Zeljko Lovrincevic from Zagreb-based Institute of Economics, a public scientific institute that conducts scientific and development research in the field of economics.
