LIMUN
- The Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development HBOR granted 445 loans worth a total 3.4 billion kuna in the first eight months of 2009, 23% up from the same period last year. Three billion kuna out of the total went to export financing programmes.
- The World Bank has agreed with the Croatian government forecast that the country's economy will contract by 5.0% this year befoer growing by 0.5% in 2010, the head of the World Bank’s Office in Croatia Andras Horvai said.
BANKAMAGAZINE
- The International Monetary Fund (IMF) said that Croatia’s GDP will drop 5.2% this year and will grow 0.4% next year.

- Two pharmacies of Croatia's Ljekarna Coner are not part of local company Atlantic Farmacija as of the beginning of September, Ljekarna Coner said. Ljekarna Coner was one of Atlantic Farmacija's first acquisitions in the process of creating a pharmacy chain which began in late 2007 when Atlantic acquired seven units of Ljekarna Coner, or a 51% stake.
