- Croatia's Tourism Minister Damir Bajs on Friday announced government measures worth 15.7 million euro aimed at timely preparation for the 2010 summer tourism season. The measures were adopted after two months of negotiations with private tourist operators.
- Split-based newspaper publisher Slobodna Dalmacija recorded a loss of 6.8 million kuna in the first nine months of the year, which represents an improvement compared with the same period last year when the loss was 10.4 million kuna.
