- Croatian cardboard maker Belisce recorded a profit of 5.68 million kuna in the first ten months of the year and total income of 478.69 million kuna.
- Croatian holding company Valamar has acquired the Luna hotel, located on the Adriatic island of Pag. The value of the transaction was not disclosed.

- The income of radio transmitter manufacturer RIZ-Odasiljaci halved on the year during the first nine months of 2009. Revenue amounted to 4.66 million euro compared with 10.27 million euro a year earlier.
- Commercial banks in Croatia posted a combined gross profit of over 52 million euro in the third quarter of 2009, according to preliminary unaudited data published by the Croatian central bank. Thirty-two commercial banks operate in Croatia, a country of 4.4 million people.
