- Spokesperson of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Bojana Todorovska has rebuffed media speculation that the EBRD and the European Investment Bank are ready to invest more than 3.0 billion kuna in motorways in Croatia.

- Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor should receive this week President of the EBRD Thomas Mirrow, who will have a series of business meetings in Zagreb. The meetings will focus on the EBRD’s business forum in Zagreb in May, while Kosor and Mirrow are going to discuss bilateral cooperation. According to Poslovni, the EBRD is interested in Croatia's majority state-owned Hrvatska Postanska Banka (HPB). It would be acceptable for the EBRD and the government, if the international lender were to own a stake of 20-30% in HPB.
