- Combined revenues of Croatia’s motorway concessionaires amounted to 1.61 billion kuna (VAT not included) in the first nine months of 2009, 1.55% up on the year, the Croatian Association of Toll Motorways Concessionaires HUKA reports. Croatian state-owned motorway management, construction and maintenance company Hrvatske Autoceste (HAC) recorded the highest income, of 999 million kuna, 2.56% higher on the year.
- According to Deputy Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor and Finance Minister Ivan Suker, Croatia’s state budget for 2010 could remain similar to this year’s - with revenues and costs projected at around 120 billion kuna - and will forecast a GDP growth of 0.5%.
