- Croatia and Serbia are the only countries in central and eastern Europe that will not record GDP growth in 2010, Erste Group’s analysts said in their latest CEE outlook, predicting a zero-growth for the two countries. Erste expects Croatia to turn to economic growth in 2011, when GDP should expand by 2.1%.

- Croatian generic drugs maker PharmaS started the construction of a production and storage centre worth 300 million kuna in the Popovaca area, in central Croatia.
