- Croatian privately-owned concern Agrokor will invest 20 million euro in a distribution centre in Macedonia, Macedonian Farm Minister Ljupco Dimovski said.
- Croatian information technology (IT) company King ICT posted a revenue of 232 million kuna in the first half of 2009, 23% up from the same period a year earlier.
- The Croatian competition watchdog, AZTN, approved the acquisition of local sugar refinery Sladorana by peer Viro, a transaction worth 10 million euro following which Viro will raise its stake in Sladorana to nearly 70%.
