December 29 (SeeNews) - State-controlled flag carrier Croatia Airlines [ZSE:CRAL] said it plans to launch a seasonal flight from the Bavarian town of Munich to the Adriatic island of Brac.
The new line has significant potential as in 2022 the highest number of foreign tourists on Brac arrived from Germany, and their number was 5% higher compared to pre-pandemic 2019, Croatia Airlines said in a press release earlier this week.
The flights are scheduled on Saturdays from the end of May to the first half of October. They will be operated with a 76-seat Dash 8-Q400 aircraft.
The company's shares closed flat at 35 kuna ($4.9/4.6 euro) on the Zagreb Stock Exchange on Wednesday, the last trading day in 2022 before the official adoption of the euro currency in Croatia on January 1.
