PODGORICA (Montenegro), December 5 (SeeNews) – Montenegro's Crnogorski Telekom [MNG:TECG] led the blue-chip gainers on the Montenegrin stock exchange in November, as stock indices ended up, bourse data indicated.
The blue-chip index of the Montenegro Stock Exchange, MNSE10, closed November at 847.45 points, up 0.47% month-on-month and 9.1% year-on-year.
The benchmark MONEX index, which tracks the 20 most representative shares on the Montenegro Stock Exchange, rose by 0.35% month-on-month in November, reaching 10,901.72 points. The index went up 7.1% year-on-year.
Crnogorski Telekom rose the most among the blue chips in November, adding 11.3% month-on-month to 1.5744 euro, as 27,733 of its shares changed hands in 25 transactions. The company generated a share turnover of 43,662 euro.
Montenegrin company Port of Adria [MNG:KOGE], the operator of a cargo and cruise dock at Bar harbour, paced the blue-chip decliners in November, as its share price fell 14.46% on the month to 0.1279 euro. A total of 20,827 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 2,663 euro.
Тhe bourse's total turnover fell in November to 665,127 euro ($755,181) from 5.7 million euro a month earlier.
A total of 176 transactions were concluded on the bourse in Podgorica in November, versus 344 in October. Stock market capitalisation was 2.803 billion euro at the end of November, down from 3.006 billion euro a month earlier.
