January 24 (SeeNews) - Cosmetics producer Bulgarian Rose [BUL:ROZA] said that it recorded a sales revenue of 4.97 million levs ($2.76 million/2.54 million euro) last year, beating its 4.92 million levs forecast.
In December alone, sales revenue came in at 457,000 levs, the company said in a bourse filing on Monday.
January 2023 sales are projected at 210,000 levs, the company added.
Karlovo-based Bulgarian Rose, established in 1948, manufactures cosmetic products for face, body, and hair using rose oil and locally-grown herbs. The company is part of local blue-chip industrial group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:SPH].
Shares in the company last traded at 1.70 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data shows.
