The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) said it is considering providing a long-term loan of $30million (25.19 million euro) to Turkish edible oil and canned food producer Yonca Gida Sanayi A.S. in order to finance the company’s capital investments and expand its range of products.
The projected loan will help Yonca improve its corporate governance standards, environmental efficiency and resource efficiency as well as further develop its supply chain relationship with local farmers leading to backward linkages in Western Turkey, Central Anatolia and increasingly in Eastern Turkey, the EBRD said in a statement.
Yonca Gida Sanayi A.S. Vegetable Oil Industries was established by Hasan Turek in Manisa Organized Industrial Zone in 1981.
