April 13 (SeeNews) - Serbia has confirmed 14 more deaths from the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) since Friday, bringing the death toll to 80, while the total number of infected people rose to 3,630 as of April 12, the country's health ministry said.
The country reported 250 COVID-19 cases and six deaths related to the virus on April 12, the health ministry said in a statement on Sunday.
Five coronavirus-related deaths were reported on Friday and three more lethal cases were confirmed on Saturday, the health ministry said.
The number of COVID-19 cases confirmed on Friday stood at 238, while 275 more were reported on Saturday.
A total of 146 COVID-19 patients were on mechanical breathing as of April 12.
Health minister Zlatibor Loncar announced the first case of COVID-19 in the country on March 6.
