April 13 (SeeNews) - Moldova's health ministry said on Monday that coronavirus cases in the country have increased to 1,662 from 1,560 a day earlier.
Most cases were registered in Chisinau, Stefan Voda and Soroca, the health ministry said in a press release.
So far, Moldova has registered 33 deaths from the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), while 107 people have recovered.
Some 39,314 people are in self-isolation at their homes.
Since March 23, Moldova's emergency situations committee has banned people older than 63 years from leaving their home except to go to work, buy medicines or food or walking their pets.
On March 17, Moldova's parliament declared a state of emergency until May 16 to enable authorities to tackle the coronavirus disease outbreak more efficiently.
