November 18 (SeeNews) - Cognizant Softvision, the Romanian arm of US-based IT services provider Cognizant, said it has opened a new office in the western city of Timisoara.
The new 2,100 sq m office is located in the United Business Center office complex, Cognizant Softvision said in a press release on Thursday.
Besides Timisoara, the company has office spaces in the cities of Cluj-Napoca, Iasi, Baia Mare and capital Bucharest.
"We are constantly hiring passionate people, and now in our hub in Timisoara we have almost 400 employees, including colleagues who only work remotely in cities like Arad, Hunedoara and Craiova" said HR Director for Cognizant Softvision Romania, Raluca Dolan.
Cognizant Softvision Romania is part of the digital engineering branch of New York listed parent company Cognizant, which spans across a network of 25 studios in 10 countries.
Cognizant acquired Romanian-born privately-held digital engineering and consulting company Softvision in 2018.
Cognizant Softvision currently employs some 2,500 people nationwide.
