BELGRADE (Serbia), May 18 (SeeNews) – Chinese chemicals producer Zhejiang Hongda plans to complete the construction of an 800,000 euro ($976,200) plastic granules factory in Jagodina, central Serbia, by the end of May, the city government said.
"Production machines will arrive next month," Jagodina city council president, Dragan Markovic, said in a press release on Monday.
Zhejiang Hongda will initially hire 30 to 50 employees at the factory and will later add 100 to 120 more, the director of the factory, Lin Jia Zhang, said during a meeting with Markovic.
"The annual volume of exports is about 14,000 tonnes, and the value of output is up to 12 million euro," Lin Jia Zhang added.
