September 14 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian industrial conglomerate Chimimport [BUL:6C4] led blue-chip decliners on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday, bourse data showed.
Chimimport shares closed 3.62% lower at 1.730 levs ($1.05/0.886 euro) on Thursday as 6,946 units changed hands.
Aluminium products manufacturer Alcomet [BUL:6AM] was the top blue-chip gainer on Thursday as its share price rose 3.29% to 15.390 levs, with 41,652 units changing hands.
Drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR] was the most traded blue-chip company on Thursday, as 51,585 of its shares changed hands at an average price of 4.40 levs.
Total trading turnover on the BSE fell to 2.16 million levs on Thursday, from 2.6 million levs on Wednesday.
The BSE's main SOFIX index dropped by 0.90% to 683.53 points, after falling by 0.70% on Wednesday.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, fell by 0.62% to 131.15 points.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, dropped by 0.28% to 114.87 points on Thursday.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, decreased by 0.33% to 546.71 points on Thursday.
