SOFIA (Bulgaria), April 30 (SeeNews) – CEZ Razpredelenie Bulgaria [BUL:3CZ], a subsidiary of Czech power utility CEZ, said on Tuesday its non-consolidated net profit fell by an annual 22.2% to 9.55 million levs ($6.39 million/4.88 million euro) in the first quarter of 2013.
CEZ Razpredelenie Bulgaria, operating in the Sofia region and parts of western and northern Bulgaria, is licensed for the transmission and distribution of electricity and the operation of the distribution grid.
Non-consolidated revenue from distribution of electricity amounted to 199.3 million levs in the first quarter, up from 170.14 million levs in the same period of 2012, CEZ Razpredelenie Bulgaria said in a bourse filing.
The company's non-consolidated operating profit fell to 10.95 million levs in the January-March period from 13.6 million levs a year earlier.
Earnings per share fell to 49.52 levs last quarter from 63.64 levs in the first three months of 2012.
