August 30 (SeeNews) - CEZ Razpredelenie Bulgaria [BUL:3CZ], a subsidiary of Czech power utility CEZ, said on Tuesday its first-half consolidated net profit more than doubled to 10.5 million levs ($6 million/5.4 million euro) from 4.7 million levs in the same period last year.
The company's consolidated operating revenues rose by an annual 14.8% to 195.6 million levs in January-June, it said in a bourse filing.
Its operating profit doubled to 12.3 million levs from 6.1 million levs in the first half of 2015.
CEZ Razpredelenie Bulgaria is 67%-owned by Czech power utility CEZ. It operates in the Sofia region and parts of western and northern Bulgaria and is licensed for the transmission and distribution of electricity and the operation of a distribution grid.
The company's shares last traded on Friday at 119.50 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
