Bulgaria's Zlatograd calls bids for geothermal drilling works

SOFIA (Bulgaria), August 5 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria’s town of Zlatograd invited bids for geothermal drilling works worth an indicative 2.5 million levs ($1.7 million/1.3 million euro), the local government said.

The works, which are part of a project for the construction of a geothermal heating system in the town, should be completed in 12 months, the Zlatograd municipal authorities said in a notice published on their website last week.

Bids must be submitted by August 29 and will be opened on the following day, a notice published in the EU’s procurement journal Tenders Electronic Daily on Monday indicated. The bid bond is set at 24,900 levs.

Zlatograd is located in southcentral Bulgaria and has a population of some 7,000.
