May 7 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Byala municipality said on Friday that it has signed a 3.9 million levs ($2.4 million/2 million euro) contract for the conservation and restoration of the bridge over Yantra River with local construction company Trace Group Hold [BUL:T57].
The contract was signed on April 22 following a tender which attracted two offers, Byala municipality said in a notice to the public procurement agency.
The bridge is part of the architectural heritage of Bulgarian architect, master builder and sculptor Kolyo Ficheto.
Trace Group Hold's activities include rehabilitation, reconstruction and construction of roads, highways, airports, underground stations and underground railways and stations, surface railroads and facilities, urban infrastructure and road marking.
