July 24 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian construction company Trace Group Hold [BUL:T57] signed a contract worth 8.4 million euro ($11 million) to improve the energy efficiency of public buildings in Sofia, the company said in a bourse filing on Wednesday.
The scope of the project includes replacement of window frames, outside insulation of the buildings, energy-efficient optimization of the electrical installation, ventilation and air conditioning of nine hospitals, 17 schools, 17 kindergartens and six office buildings, the contract notice said.
The project, contracted by Bulgaria's Ministry of Economy and Energy, is financed under Kozloduy International Decommissioning Support Fund (KIDSF), administered by EBRD. It has to be completed by December 31, 2013.
