February 22 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian diversified group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR] said on Thursday its consolidated net profit rose to 7.8 million levs ($4.9 million/4.0 million euro) in 2017, from 7.2 million levs in 2016.
The company's consolidated operating revenue grew to 219.3 million levs last year from 189.6 million levs in 2016, the group said in a bourse filing.
Stara Planina Hold’s operating expenses increased to 197.3 million levs in 2017 compared to 170.2 million levs the year before.
Earlier on Thursday, Stara Planina Hold said it expects its consolidated sales to increase by an annual 18.88% to 40.5 million levs in the first two months of 2018.
Stara Planina Hold's investment portfolio includes companies from the sectors of machine building, electrical engineering and perfumery and cosmetics.
As at 14:40 CET on Thursday, Stara Planina Hold shares traded 2.48% lower at 7.85 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
