September 17 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian power tools manufacturer Sparky Eltos [BUL:SL9], part of local Sparky Group, said that its consolidated net loss narrowed to 5.3 million levs ($3.0 million/2.7 million euro) in the first half of 2019 from 5.8 million levs in the like period of 2018.
Sparky Eltos' revenue dropped to 6.9 million levs in the first six months of the year from 11.2 million levs in the comparable period of 2018, the company said in an interim financial statement on Monday.
The company's operating expenses fell to 12.2 million levs in the review period from 16.9 million levs the year before, mainly due to a decrease in expenses for materials and personnel costs.
Sparky Eltos' assets amounted to 116.1 million levs at the end of June, down from 121.9 million levs a year earlier.
Current assets stood at 60.4 million levs at the end of June, while current liabilities totalled 78.3 million levs.
