September 25 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Sopharma Trading [BUL:SO5] said on Friday that its profit before taxes rose by an annual 9% to 15.6 million levs ($9.3 million/8 million euro) in the January-August period of 2020.
Sopharma Trading's sales revenue increased by 10% year-on-year to 560.3 million levs in the first eight months of 2020, the drug trader said in a bourse filing.
In August alone, the company's profit before taxes rose by 3% to 1.6 million levs backed by a 9% increase in sales, to 71.6 million levs.
As at 14:45 CET on Friday, Sopharma Trading shares traded at 5.15 levs, unchanged from their previous closing price on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
