March 30 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian real estate investment trust Sopharma Buildings REIT [BUL:SFB] said on Thursday that its shareholders authorised it to purchase a land plot in Sofia at a price of 6.34 million levs ($3.52 million/3.24 million euro).
In the transaction, Sopharma Buildings will buy a 17,688 sq m plot from its shareholder, pharmaceuticals producer Sopharma [BUL:SFA], the company said in a bourse filing.

As of the end of 2022, Sopharma held a 10.25% stake in Sopharma Buildings.
Earlier this month, the REIT raised some 6.04 million levs in a capital increase, in which 21 investors subscribed for 3,249,950 company shares.
Shares in Sopharma Buildings last traded at 2.63 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data show.
