SOFIA (Bulgaria), October 14 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Smolyan municipality said on Wednesday that it opened a tender for awarding a five-year waste management services contract worth an estimated 6.27 million levs ($3.7 million/3.2 million euro), excluding VAT.

The contract envisages exploitation and maintenance of the Teklen Dol landfill for solid household waste, which services Smolyan, Chepelare and Banite municipalities, in the southeast of the country, the contracting authority said in a tender notice.

The deadline for submitting offers is November 12.
