October 20 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Razlog municipality said on Wednesday it awarded a 6.3 million levs ($3.7 million/3.2 million euro) waste separation engineering deal to local companies Mile Engineering and Alfa Build Engineering, and their Mile Build consortium.
The companies will be responsible for drawing an engineering project for a separating installation in the regional non-hazardous landfill serving the municipalities of Razlog, Bansko, Belitsa and Yakoruda as well as the installation, delivery of equipment and carrying out supervision, Razlog municipality said in a notice to the public procurement agency.
Mile Engineering and Alfa Build Engineering have 50% participation each in Mile Build, Bulgarian registry agency data showed.
The deal was signed on October 14. The term for completing the assignment is 660 days.
The procedure for awarding the contract attracted bids from six candidates. The bids were ranked solely based on price.
