February 22 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian outsourcing company Pontica Solutions said it has invested over 500,000 levs ($272,621/255,645 euro) to diversify its activities with new IT services.
The investment project includes the development of new services such as data analyses and hosting, allowing Pontica to continue expanding, the company said in a statement on Tuesday. The project will create 50 new jobs at the company's office in the coastal city of Burgas.
In July, Pontica announced it opened the office in Burgas, its fourth in the country, as part of its expansion strategy. Since then, the Burgas team has grown to over 50 people, the company added.
Pontica Solutions also has an office in Sofia, two offices in the Black Sea city of Varna and one in Krakow, Poland.
Sofia-based Pontica Solutions was founded in 2015 as a startup. The company specialises in business process outsourcing (BPO) and information technology outsourcing (ITO), partnering with companies in the fields of travel and leisure, retail and e-commerce, IT, financial services and gaming.
