January 26 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian car battery manufacturer Monbat [BUL:5MB] said on Friday its consolidated pre-tax profit rose by 5% to 31.7 million levs ($20.2 million/16.2 million euro) in 2017.
Monbat's earnings before interest, taxes and depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) added 6.5% year-on-year to 49.1 million levs in 2017, the company said in a bourse filing.

Consolidated net sales revenue increased 23.7% on the year to 325.5 million levs in 2017.
In December alone, Monbat's pre-tax profit rose 49.1% year-on-year to 647,000 levs, while its sales revenue increased 12.1% to 24.8 million levs.
