March 28 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian battery manufacturer Monbat [BUL:MONB] said that its consolidated pre-tax profit from ongoing operations decreased by 19.3% year-on-year in the first two months of 2022, reaching 4.4 million levs ($2.5 million/2.2 million euro).
Consolidated net sales revenue went up by an annual 8.8% to some 61.7 million levs in the January-February period, the company said in a bourse filing on Friday.

Monbat’s consolidated earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) fell 10.5% year-on-year to 7.8 million levs in the review period.
In February alone, Monbat's consolidated profit before taxes from ongoing operations dropped by an annual 44% to 1.6 million levs. Sales edged up 0.1% to 29.6 million levs.
