February 14 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Kazanlak municipality said on Friday that it has opened a tender for awarding a 2.8 million levs ($1.5 million/1.4 million euro) contract for the construction of a tourist complex in the town of Shipka.
The project benefits from EU financing under operational programme Regions in Growth 2014-2020, the Kazanlak municipality said in a tender notice.
The tender envisages the construction of different buildings, including several accommodation facilities and a restaurant along with the respective infrastructure.
The tourist complex will spread on 19,064 sq m, the tender notice read.
Candidates in the tender procedure should prove that they have worked under similar contracts in the last five years and that their staff is competent enough to carry out the needed works.
The deadline for submitting offers is March 18.
