December 2 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian poultry producer Gradus [BUL:GR6] said that its consolidated net profit increased to 23.09 million levs ($12.4 million/11.8 euro million) in the first nine months of 2022 from 21.5 million levs a year earlier.
The company’s revenue rose to 141.5 million levs in the nine months through September from 134.03 million levs in the like period of 2021, Gradus said in an interim financial statement earlier this week.

Total sales slipped by 3% to 117.4 million levs, as domestic sales fell by 5% to 74.1 million levs. At the same time, European sales climbed by 26% to 21.6 million levs, while sales to countries outside Europe dropped by 18% to 21.65 million levs.
Operating expenses rose to 117.6 million levs from 110 million levs as a result of higher cost of materials.
As at CET 1021 on Friday, shares in Gradus traded flat at 1.36 on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
