October 25 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian financial leasing company Elana Agrocredit [BUL:EAC] said it signed deals to finance purchases of agricultural land worth some 2.3 million levs ($1.4 million/1.2 million euro) in September, up from approximately 1.8 million levs in the same month of last year.
Elana Agrocredit financed the purchase of 181.18 ha of land in September, compared to 187.94 ha in September 2020, the company said in a monthly report published last week.
In September 2021, Elana Agrocredit signed 15 deals for financing purchases of farm land.
The financial leasing company typically finances 80% of the value of the purchases.
