November 24 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian financial leasing company Elana Agrocredit [BUL:EAC] said it signed deals to finance purchases of agricultural land worth about 709,800 levs ($407,900/362,900 euro) in October, up from approximately 353,400 levs in the same month of last year.
Elana Agrocredit financed the purchase of 56 ha of land in October, compared to 26.7 ha in October 2020, the company said in a monthly report published earlier this week.
In October, Elana Agrocredit signed 17 deals for financing purchases of farm land.
The financial leasing company typically finances 80% of the value of the purchases.
