November 19 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian carpet and rug manufacturer Decotex [BUL:DEX] opened a retail park in the city of Sliven following investment of 2 million euro ($2.3 million), it said on Friday.
As much as 93% of the retail space is already occupied under long-term conatcts with leading brands like KiK, Zoomania, MatStar, Nov Dom, the company said in a statement.
In June, Decotex said the retail park will offer a total commercial area of 2,500 sq m, adding the company plans to rent out commercial areas of 150-650 sq m in the shopping centre at 10 euro per sq m.
Decotex also runs Decotex Imoti, a real estate and construction subsidiary. Decotex booked a non-consolidated net profit of 22,000 levs ($12,800/11,200 euro) on revenue of some 2.9 million levs in the third quarter of 2021, according to its most recent quarterly financial report.
Shares in Decotex last closed at a price of 0.57 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange's BaSE market, bourse data showed.
