December 1 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian diversified group Chimimport [BUL:CHIM] said that its consolidated net profit excluding minority interest fell to 22 million levs ($12.7 million/11.2 million euro) in the first nine months of 2021, from 29.1 million levs in the like period of last year.
With minority interest included, consolidated net profit edged down to 32.7 million levs in January-September from 33 million levs in the same period of 2020, the company said in an interim financial statement earlier this week.
Chimimport's total revenue went down to 8.64 billion levs in the nine months through September, from 12.65 billion levs in the comparable period of last year.
The company's expenses also fell - to 8.60 billion levs from 12.62 billion levs.
As at 11:00 CET on Wednesday, shares in Chimimport traded 1.16% lower at 0.85 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
Chimimport has over 60 subsidiaries active in various sectors of the economy, including banking, insurance, air transport, agriculture, petroleum and natural gas exploration, and others.
