SOFIA (Bulgaria), July 24 (SeeNews) – The Bulgarian coastal municipality of Aytos said it has signed a 12 million levs ($7.1 million/6.1 million euro) contract for the construction of a waste water treatment plant (WTPP) to a local tie-up comprising Sofia-based Karo Trading and Aquarius ND.
All nine other candidates have been disqualified due to failure to meet one or more of the requirements set out in the procedure, a statement posted on the website of the municipality shows.
Under the contract, works must be completed within 566 days.
The project will be financed from the EU's 2014-2020 Operational Programme Environment and Bulgarian co-financing.
