October 15 (SeeNews) - New passenger car registrations in Bulgaria rose by 11.8% year-on-year to 19,040 units in the January-September period of 2021, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association, ACEA, said on Friday.
In September alone, new passenger car registrations in Bulgaria fell by an annual 20.7% to 1,446 units, ACEA said in a press release, citing provisional figures.

New passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, went up 6.6% year-on-year to 7.5 million units in the first nine months of 2021. In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, new passenger car registrations increased by 11.2% to 914,899 units.
