May 27 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange's BGREIT index closed at an all-time high 152.19 points following a 0.48% rise on Thursday.
The BGREIT, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, set its previous high, of 151.97 points, on May 20.
The index was mostly supported by a 5.88% jump in the share price of Intercapital Property Development [BUL:ICPD]. The BGREIT was also backed by Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER] and Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT (BREF) [BUL:BREF], which gained 0.40% and 0.25%, respectively.
The blue-chip SOFIX index edged down 0.06% to 531.57 points on Thursday, mostly hurt by Telelink Business Services Group (TBS Group) [BUL:TBS] and Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:EUBG]. TBS Group erased 2% of its share price on Thursday, while Eurohold ended 1.56% down.
The only other blue-chip decliner on Thursday was diversified group Chimimport [BUL:CHIM], which lost 0.22% of its share price.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, closed unchanged at 119.80 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, advanced 0.20% to 573.61 points.
Total regulated market turnover amounted to 2.4 million levs ($1.5 million/1.2 million euro).
