March 21 (SeeNews) - Cosmetics producer Bulgarian Rose [BUL:ROZA] said on Thursday that its sales revenue came in at 488,000 levs ($270,569/249,510 euro) in the first two months of 2024, above its 464,000 levs target.
In February alone, Bulgarian Rose posted a preliminary loss of 40,000 levs, while sales amounted to 224,000 levs, the company said in a bourse filing.
In comparison, the company booked a loss of 3,000 levs on sales of 243,000 levs in the same month last year.
Sales in March are projected at 470,000 levs, bringing revenue for the first quarter to some 958,000 levs.
Karlovo-based Bulgarian Rose, established in 1948, manufactures cosmetic products for face, body and hair using rose oil and locally-grown herbs. The company is part of local diversified group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:SPH].
Shares in Bulgarian Rose last traded at 2.00 levs on the BaSE market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data show.
